New technologies of interoperability and collaborative coordination based on Blockchain for the collaborative coordination of the industries of the Basque Country

Ambition
The objective of the project EUSKATE is "generation of new knowledge based on the use and applicability of blockchain technology in the industry" . This is about creating a platform for Industry 4.0 that "will allow its members to create prototypes in laboratory or controlled environments, as well as the validation, experimentation and analysis of new products and services based on technology that can offer them differential value compared to the competition".

| Scope and objectives | (i) Analysis of the blockchain potential to respond to specific technological challenges and needs of industrial sector in the Basque economy; (ii) Exploration of blockchain technology in various areas in order to see its applicability such as smart contracts, automation of blockchain operations adapted to the industry; (iii) Both Euskate and Block4Coop project pursue building a collaborative platform linked to disseminate the advanced in the industry 4.0. it is worth noting that in case of EUSKATE this also about a blockchain platform where the involved counterparts have the possibility to create and test and validate prototypes and thus allowing create new competitive and with more value added products and services based on technology. |
